U.S. Senate Candidate says it's time
Carlton Bowen is announcing his candidacy for the U.S. Senate as an Independent American saying “It’s
time for the Independent American Party to rise up, for the good of this country.”
Candidate Carlton says he is running on a platform of “Traditional Values”, “Traditional Money”, and “Our
Tradition of Freedom”. Carlton goes on to explain he is “pro-family”, “for traditional marriage”, and “for
common sense moral values such as honesty and integrity.”
Carlton says his “Pro traditional money” platform means more than “endorsing the gold and silver coin
our Constitution envisioned and requires as money.” It also encompasses Free Market economics and
fiscal responsibility, such as balanced budgets and reducing the federal debt.” Carlton, who has degrees
in Economics and “Intelligence and Imagery Analysis” explains that embracing these “traditional money”
principles leads to opportunity for “prosperity for all”.
Carlton says “Our tradition of freedom” highlights the shared common history we have as Americans.
Stating “America was founded by people seeking religious and economic freedom”; “Plymouth”,
“Jamestown”, the “Declaration of Independence”, and “Yorktown” are all cited as events where “God was
the author of our Liberty”. Carlton encourages “We must continue to remember Him if we are to remain a
free nation today”, noting our national motto is “In God We Trust”.
Carlton is married with 6 children and 13 grandchildren, and resides in American Fork Utah. He works as
an “Executive Project Manager.” Carlton previously served on the American Fork City Council, which he
was elected to in 2013. Carlton previousy served with distinction in the United States Air Force. More
